GTA V

Grand Theft Auto V... what more can I say than AMAZING. This game took what GTA should have and could have been and made it real. I beat this game 3 weeks ago and I am still having a blast. There is so much for you to do and even when you don't want to do any of that, you can make up your own thing and do it. For instance, take a cargobob, pick up traffic, and drop it on other traffic.
I can't say this is a perfect game, but it is damn near close. One thing I instantly picked up on was the driving mechanics. In GTA IV, the driving mechanics were slow and not very responsive, this is fixed in GTA V and has further improvement. The police system is also brand new. It used to be no challenge to get away from the police, but now it's like you versus Robocop, it's not easy.
I must advise this: THIS GAME IS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC, DO NOT LET CHILDREN UNDER 17 PLAY!!!!! I'm 17 and I don't think I should even be playing it.
Anyway, it's a great game worth the buy.

Yes I'm alive

Sorry for my absence, senior year has kicked in full swing and I haven't had much time for this blog. I've been playing plenty of games to keep this blog going so hopefully I'll update soon.

It finally gave out

Well, after less than a year, the PS3 finally died yesterday. I was expecting it but not so soon. Anyway, I was play Black Ops 2 when all of a sudden the console shuts off. I think to myself "Ok, I'll just turn it back on." Nope. When I attempted to turn the console back on I was presented with the yellow light of death. So not only did the console die, but now Black Ops 2 is stuck inside it. Long story short, the console is dead, I have to tear it apart to get Black Ops 2 out (I already tried the fan cycle trick- did not work) and I was none to happy. Anyway people, I will be posting more game reviews in the future and that's all I had to say, bye.

Fallout 3

This game by far was one of my favorites. I have always been a fan of open world exploration games such as the Fallout series.  I played this on the PS3 and my suggestion is do not use an older version of the PS3. The farther you get in the game, the more issues you may encounter. The main problem I had was freezing and crashes.

Everything begins from your day of birth where you customize your character, this is done by showing what you would look like when you grow up. Things go easy from here up until your escape from Vault 101 to follow after your father who escaped without telling you anything.

Overall I loved this game. I paid $14 for the Game of the Year edition brand new. This version of the game came with all DLC's, a Vault Boy poster, and a map of the entire area with all quest locations including DLC quests. Definitely worth the money to get.

SCP Containment Breach

This time I have decided to do an Indie game.

SCP Containment Breach was terrifyingly scary. You never knew when SCP-173 was going to show up or where, but not only do you have 173 to deal with, you have 106; an inter dimension traveling "Old Man" who will take you into his dimension if he catches you.

Overall this game scared the crap out of me. At one point 173 had me pinned to a wall after I had opened a door and blinked. Yeah, not fun.

Pulse Racer

In all honesty, this game horrified me. It was something that should never have been made.
Pulse Racer in my opinion was an unwinable game. The few times I did play it I never finished a race I got so frustrated. You either went to fast and had a heart attack or went so slow it took 10 minutes to finish a race.
This game was just awful.

Hitman: Absolution

Overall a good game, but it has some pitfalls.
You play as Agent 47, a hitman for hire on a mission to rescue a girl who was genetically engineered to be a "killing machine". I skipped a lot of the cutscenes so if you want to know the story, go play it.
I was able to beat this game in about 4 hours, even with resets and wasting time. In my mind they should have made the story a little longer, but I guess the 5 difficulty types make up for that.. What really saved the game for me was contracts mode. This allows you to go into the levels you play in the campaign and create contracts for other players to complete as well as play other players contracts and go for a high score.
Easter Egg: After you kidnap Lenny, you take him to the desert to kill him, instead of just shooting him, get the 5 vultures to take off and shoot them while they are flying around above, this will cause Lenny to walk to a certain spot and then be hit by the ice cream truck you drove in the tutorial level.
